Essential oil and aromatic use of oils for pain and inflammation has been going on for many years. Essential oils have had many studies done to see what their chemical constituents do, and how they may impact the body. We have used essential oils for muscles issues, pain, muscles spasm, tightness and inflammation for many years and the research published on Pub Med and in various aromatherapy texts that the chemical properties in some essential oils will help with these issues. I wanted to list out some, there are many, and what their chemical profiles show they may be useful for.
Now this is where I say this is not nor should be used in place of medical care. If you need medical attention please get it. Essential oils and the use of aromatherapy can be a very useful tool in your health and wellness regimen but do not use them in place of sound medical care and advice.
